Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and always maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, guiding cooking techniques, food handling, and presentation skills.
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy shifts.
  • Monitor kitchen operations to optimize workflow and efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Handle special dietary requests and ensure that all meals meet guests' needs.
  • Assist in budgeting for food costs and managing expenses related to kitchen operations.
