The Assistant Chef at Camp Loyaltown supports the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations within a large residential summer camp serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. Campers range in age from 6 to over 80 and have a wide variety of support needs, from full assistance with daily living to simple verbal guidance. The Assistant Chef helps prepare meals for large groups, carries out meal‑related tasks assigned by the Executive Chef, maintains a clean and safe kitchen environment, and works alongside and supervises kitchen staff during meal service to ensure efficient meal setup, service, and cleanup.
