Requirements

  • 4+ years of dental experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric dental procedures, insurance, and billing
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or advanced certifications preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to commute or relocate to Queens, NY

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front and back office operations efficiently
  • Lead, mentor, and support staff using a servant-leadership approach
  • Manage scheduling, billing, daily closeouts, and clinical workflow
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and pediatric dental standards
  • Track and analyze KPIs: production, collections, payroll, and expenses
  • Handle escalated patient concerns professionally and empathetically
  • Train staff on new systems, policies, and performance goals
  • Supervise insurance verification, benefit reviews, and patient financing
  • Collaborate with HR on staff development, coaching, and performance feedback
