Dental Assistant (Pediatric Experience Preferred)

Located in the heart of Brooklyn, NY, our growing pediatric dental and orthodontic office is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fun, kid-friendly environment. We specialize in working with children of all needs - including those who are fearful, anxious, or have special needs - using the latest dental technology and techniques. As our Pediatric Dental Assistant, you'll play a critical role in creating a positive and supportive experience for our young patients. You'll assist chairside during procedures, help educate families on oral health, and ensure every visit is smooth, efficient, and fun!
Requirements
- 1+ year of dental assisting experience OR certified RDA
- Dental X-Ray License strongly preferred
- Pediatric dental experience highly preferred
- Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged to apply
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
- Must be able to commute to or relocate to Brooklyn, NY 11223

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside during all patient procedures
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Take X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Support dental hygienists and orthodontists as needed
- Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and manage supply inventory
- Educate children and parents on oral hygiene
- Help with treatment planning and practice management charting
- Occasionally assist with front desk responsibilities
