Assistant Dance Team (Vikettes) coach position
About The Position
Seaman High School is accepting applications for an Assistant Dance Team (Vikettes) coach for the 2026-2027 school year. As a member of the SHS staff, applicants will assist the head coach: Instruct and facilitate dance(s) for sidelines, halftimes, and competitions Provide an environment welcoming to all dance team members Promote and provide the highest possible level of safety protocols Communicate with dance team and parents in various mediums Be proactive in selecting Vikettes during tryouts Must be able to handle any problems within the dance team and assign appropriate discipline measures Create practice schedules/calendar of events Help the Spirit Club with pep assemblies (organization and performances) Supervise the Vikettes during practices, pep assemblies, activities and contests Provide arrangements for Vikettes camps and contests Host the end of the season banquet Assumes any other duties as assigned by the activities director.
