Assistant Coach, Volleyball
About The Position
Organization's Summary Statement: The Assistant Coach provides support to the Head Coach in all aspects of developing and maintaining a competitive NCAA Division I sports program. The primary focus of this role is overseeing the technical development of student athletes, assisting with gym organization/practice planning, and supporting recruiting efforts. Responsibilities include assisting with scouting prospective student-athletes, coaching and developing players, coordinating team travel, managing aspects of program administration, participating in fundraising activities, and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach fosters positive relationships with student-athletes, colleagues, university staff, alumni, and the broader community. A commitment to NCAA, conference, and university rules compliance, as well as the academic success of student-athletes, is essential.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of coaching experience at the Division 1 collegiate or international level.
- Experience with volleystation or video analysis software and/or video playback programs.
