About The Position

Ultimate Frisbee Assistant Coach, Middle School -(2) 6 week seasons in the Fall and Spring. The pay rate is $28 per hour. Daily practice from 3:15 to 4:30 PM and Wednesday 3:35 to 4:30 PM, the season will have several tournaments. The position is supervised and evaluated by the athletic director.

Requirements

• Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification may be required.
• Experience: Previous playing and coaching experience in ultimate frisbee is highly desirable.
• Skills: Excellent ultimate frisbee knowledge, including understanding of game rules and strategies. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to develop training programs for individual and team improvement. Knowledge of exercise science, player conditioning, and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective offensive and defensive strategies for games.
• Create and lead daily practices, focusing on fundamental skills Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among players.
• Provide constructive feedback and motivation to players to improve their game.
• Manage and care for team equipment.
• Work with the Athletic Assistant for team travel arrangements.
• Act as a positive role model for student-athletes.
