About The Position

The Part-Time Assistant Coach plays a vital role in supporting the head coach in all aspects of team development and operations. Responsibilities include assisting with training sessions, game preparation, and in-game strategy, as well as scouting, recruiting, and player development. The coach will help foster a competitive and positive team culture while ensuring student-athletes meet academic and athletic expectations. Additional duties may involve video analysis, travel coordination, and compliance with NCAA and conference regulations. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of NCAA Division II rules preferred
• Bachelor’s preferred
• Prior coaching and competitive experience is requested, with collegiate coaching experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading training sessions, game strategies, and individual player development.
• Identify, evaluate, and communicate with prospective student-athletes in compliance with NCAA regulations.
• Support opponent scouting, video analysis, and team preparation for practices and competitions.
• Assist with travel logistics, equipment management, and ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference rules.
• Promote academic success, leadership, and a positive team environment on and off the field.
