Assistant Coach - Field Hockey

About The Position
Assist the head coach with all aspects of the Field Hockey program including but not limited to practice competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics etc. and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program. Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel and recruit academically qualified students.
Requirements
- At least one year of coaching experience in an intercollegiate environment preferably at a Division I level.
- Knowledge of Field Hockey techniques, terminology and skill awareness essential.
- Knowledge of and familiarity of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Good organizational, interpersonal communications and computer skills necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Prefer at least 1 year in relevant independent or educational activities.
