About The Position

Minimum Qualifications Au.D. or Ph.D. degree in Audiology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience prior to implementation of AuD (i.e., master’s degree), or a third (3rd) or fourth (4th) year audiology extern currently enrolled in Au.D. program with a projected graduation date of 2025. Clinical service experience with patient-centered and evidence-based approach. Current, temporary, or permanent California Audiologist license or a Provisional Audiologist license and full licensure within three (3) months of hire. Preferred Qualifications Current California Dispensing Audiologist License. Experience in a wide range of specialties in the field of audiology (e.g. evoked potential, balance function management, tinnitus management and pediatric audiology). Proficiency in hearing aid dispensing to include programmable hearing aids of major manufacturers. Previous supervision of audiology students. Familiarity of insurance billing procedures and patient management system software. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
