About The Position

Tustin Ranch Golf Club is seeking a skilled and dependable Assistant Building Maintenance Manager to support the overall upkeep and functionality of our premier facility. This role assists in overseeing repairs, maintenance operations, and facility systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and beautiful environment for guests and staff. Compensation range: $28.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience

Requirements

  • Associates (AA) degree; or one to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in managing personnel.
  • Driver’s License is required.
  • Other applicable mechanical/equipment licenses (Boiler, HVAC etc).
  • Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates will be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Performs repairs and maintenance and ensures cleanliness of the entire facility.
  • Assists Facilities Director in managing and coordinating contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds.
  • Oversees operation of mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of the facility.
  • Coordinates property projects and maintenance in accordance with company standards.
  • Assists the department Director in interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work. Make recommendations when hiring, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates. Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Must be familiar with CMMS use, editing and reporting.
  • Assists in the coordination of department member’s daily schedule by using the available CMMS.
  • Assists in monitoring business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
  • Assists manager in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to the department.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
