About The Position

The Banqueting Assistant Manager oversees all facets of the Banquets Department. The Banqueting Assistant Manager coordinates the set-up and service of all functions in the hotel/resort.

Requirements

  • We are looking for individuals who have a thorough knowledge of guest service, banquets/catering, excellent leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Applicants are required to have two to three years of previous employment in a related position.

Nice To Haves

  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Union experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Banquet Department while ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • The manager coordinates, trains, disciplines, and supervises the Banquet staff.
