Assistant/Associate Professor
About The Position
Assistant or Associate Professor at Mississippi State University on the Meridian Campus. The Division of Education invites applicants for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Doctor of Psychology degree program in Combined Health Services Psychology beginning fall 2024. MSU Offers a PsyD program in Combined Health Services Psychology, with concentrations in Clinical, Counseling and School Psychology. Primary responsibilities will include graduate teaching and advisement; supervision of field experience; providing service and outreach; and clinical work and research in the mental and behavioral health clinic at MSU-Meridian. Faculty also work closely with clinical settings. Level of appointment is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or a closely related field
- Eligibility for MS licensure as a psychologist
- Demonstration of excellence in teaching, research or service (Associate Professor) or demonstration of potential for excellence in these areas (Assistant Professor)
- ABD's will be considered if the degree will be completed by August 15, 2024
Nice To Haves
- Experience with APA accreditation process
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a clinical psychologist
- Experience with teaching at the graduate level
- Experience with teaching virtually or online
