The School of Sciences, Computing, and Artificial Intelligence at Louisiana Christian University seeks to fill a tenure-track position in Biology to begin August 1, 2026. Qualifications: The successful candidate should hold a terminal degree (Ph.D.) in Biology or an allied field. The ability to teach courses to both non-science majors and upper-level science students A lifestyle consistent with a Christian worldview The ability to integrate Christian faith into traditional coursework Applicants will need to demonstrate teaching competencies in both lecture and laboratory Biology courses that will include the candidate's specialty area, as well as other specific needs in the department. Courses are delivered in face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats. The position also requires that the faculty member be available for advising students and service on university committees. Faculty development through scholarship activities, including travel and research with undergraduates, is strongly encouraged, and funding is available through an endowment. Applicants need to demonstrate the ability to engage students in affective learning strategies both in the classroom and online. The responsibilities of the position include teaching, advising, participating in program assessment, student recruitment, and committee responsibilities.
