The Duquesne University School of Pharmacy and the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences seek to fill a tenure-track faculty position in pharmaceutics at the assistant, associate, or full professor level. Applications from candidates whose research is externally funded are particularly welcome. Duquesne University embraces a teacher-scholar model of higher education. Therefore, qualified candidates will be simultaneously effective as educators and scholars in their field. The successful candidate will have expertise in the pharmaceutical sciences. Areas of interest include-but are not limited to-formulation development, drug delivery methods, advanced pharmaceutical modeling, bioprocessing, or related fields such as bioengineering. Duquesne University is situated in Pittsburgh's cosmopolitan and historic downtown, but set apart by its position atop a scenic bluff overlooking the Monongahela River. Duquesne University's School of Pharmacy opened in 1925 with an enrollment of just 50 students. Today, the School of Pharmacy enrolls over 600 students in its Pharm.D. program (on campus and online pathways) and over 50 M.S. and Ph.D. students.
