About The Position

Dolly Parton's Stampede is seeking a dedicated, hard-working Assistant Arena Manager to join our Managerial Team. In this role, you will assist in managing all aspects of the Arena Department, including server and beverage operations. Your primary goal is to ensure optimum efficiency and economy while maximizing profits and providing a world-class experience for our guests. You will lead by example, acting as an outgoing, interactive, and energetic host who exceeds expectations in friendliness, cleanliness, safety, and dinner service.

Requirements

  • 2-year college/technical certificate OR 3 years of related training/experience.
  • Must become ServSafe certified within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to interpret complex documents, respond to sensitive inquiries, and solve problems using data and facts.
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace and maintain a professional relationship with all employees.
  • Frequent standing/walking; occasional bending, stooping, and twisting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull over 100 lbs.
  • Frequent exposure to changes in temperature/humidity and moderate to high noise levels.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Directly supervise and support the management of 50–75 employees. Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and appraising performance.
  • Guest Excellence: Ensure consistently excellent customer service and safe-quality food and beverages for all guests.
  • Budget & Operations: Coordinate variations from annual budgets with the Director of Operations and General Manager.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with Kitchen, Sales, Production, and Merchandise teams to maintain a high-quality entertainment experience.
  • Safety & Ethics: Enforce company safety procedures and maintain an ethical environment that is beyond reproach.
  • Maintenance: Assist in maintaining departmental facilities and equipment to protect company assets.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to guest/employee emergencies and provide special care for handicapped individuals when needed.
