Chickahominy Family Practice is seeking a dynamic Assistant Administrator to help drive excellence across our clinical and administrative teams. Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in medical practice or clinic management (required)
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional multitasking abilities
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • A calm, professional, and team-focused demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support daily operations across clinical and administrative teams
  • Hire, onboard, and train new team members
  • Develop job descriptions and optimize workflows for efficiency
  • Address and resolve staff concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Conduct employee evaluations and manage performance documentation
  • Foster a positive culture through morale-building and retention initiatives
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
  • Partner with providers to streamline patient care delivery
  • Lead staff and provider meetings and drive meaningful change
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and privacy standards
  • Manage patient experience by resolving concerns and improving satisfaction
  • Optimize scheduling to reduce wait times and improve flow
