Elderwood at Hamburg is seeking a high-potential Assistant Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, while preparing for future Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) leadership opportunities. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health or related field preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of management experience, preferably in: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Healthcare operations Post-acute or long-term care
- Strong leadership presence and ability to influence across departments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Commitment to serving the geriatric population
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility
- Provide oversight to department leaders as needed
- Step in to support continuity during Administrator absence
- Support and monitor Quality Assurance (QA/QAPI) programs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in survey readiness and performance improvement initiatives
- Support Human Resources planning and workforce development
- Partner with department leaders to strengthen accountability and engagement
- Promote a culture of service excellence and teamwork
- Assist in development and execution of the facility Marketing Plan
- Lead special projects in partnership with the Administrator and regional leadership
- Contribute to operational improvement and strategic initiatives
