This position provides administrative support to the Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Urology Department, ensuring smooth daily operations and coordination of patient care activities. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 0–3+ years of relevant experience
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Reliable attendance
  • Ability to use current technology effectively
  • Willingness to be cross‑trained
  • Collaborative and helpful work style

Nice To Haves

  • prior administrative experience preferred
  • Experience working in a matrixed or complex environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the provider with day‑to‑day needs
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Conduct follow‑up calls
  • Manage Cerner messages
  • Maintain and update the provider’s schedule
  • Communicate and collaborate with multiple departments
  • Provide basic administrative and technical support, including: Calendar management, Meeting coordination, Travel arrangements, Invoice processing, Responding to inquiries
  • Address basic administrative or technical issues with minimal guidance
