For more information, please visit our website at www.sunchemical.com or connect with us on LinkedIn or Twitter POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Under direct supervision will provide administrative support for all customers incoming and outgoing work orders for NAI Regional coverage and departmental technical/lead staff of the RCML. Perform project outgoing final quality inspections for all outgoing work orders, perform all presentation formatting, assembly, and shipment of projects. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position will provide administrative support to the technical staff of the RCML. Monitors RCML mailbox for new requests and correspondence on a frequent basis. Fields all RCML incoming phone calls. Reviews incoming project requests for accuracy and completeness. Data entry of all project requests into RCML project tracking system. Sends receipt and confirmation emails for all color match/proof requests from the RCML tracking system. Labels all incoming materials with corresponding project number and information, to associate materials with each individual project. Performs a final quality visual inspection of customer prints. Communicates with the customer through the RCML tracking system if the prints are Late OTIF as a result of inspection. Cut and mounts customer prints on proof presentation sheets in accordance with RCML specifications. Prepares and ships all requests to feeder sites, sales and customers. Including but not limited to, proofs, wet samples, spectral data and formulae. Enters shipping tracking information and cost into the RCML tracking database. Maintains project schedule board throughout the day and provides status updates as required. Emails project schedule board to all leads and site managers daily. Data entry, update and maintain Customer Profiles with all active files on color matches to serve as future reference including pertinent data as to customer, color, print substrate, product end use, and prepare lab reports on completed projects. File and maintain all active project files on color matches to serve as future reference including pertinent project data as to customer, color, print substrate, product end use, color targets, formulae, prints, spectral data, and correspondence from/to customer. Order colorants, systems, vehicles and substrates, equipment and supplies from approved sites and or vendors to keep the RCML stocked through approved process. Daily reporting/updates on project status to sales feeder sites and management. Adheres to all safety rules and regulations according to ISO/EHS All other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing, with concentration in the following areas:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to assist others.
  • Computer literate. Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Strong Customer Service Skills with the ability to follow up and follow through
