About The Position

Position Title: On Premise Assistant Account Manager Department: Sales FLSA Status:Non-Exempt Method of Work: Requires in Person Attendance at Our Facility Applicants must currently hold or have previously held a role equivalent to a route service or merchandising position. A valid Class A CDL is strongly preferred.

  • Current valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • This license must comply with our insurance carrier’s guidelines for an acceptable, insured driver.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, climb or balance.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk and hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must constantly lift and/or move 40 pounds, push breakdown loaded with cases of beer from storage to cooler/display.
  • Lift 170 lbs. from waist level.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the On-Premise Sales Manager, Account Managers, and Team Leads with daily activities
  • Follow structured sales call
  • Monitor product rotation and communicate any potential problems
  • Developed level of rapport to improve relationships with retailers
  • Monitor the activities of the competition (e.g. pricing, promotions, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate record keeping of On-Premise contests
  • Perform sales and pricing analysis for management including impact on market share and profitability
  • Evaluate brand/package sales promotions and suggest modifications to enhance sales/profitability
  • Call on each account as scheduled. Notify Team Leader of any changes
  • Compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity rules and guidelines
  • Ability to appear at work as scheduled, mindful of the company’s attendance policies
  • Ability to accept directions from managers and supervisors
  • Knowledge of all existing and incoming products available to retailers
  • Check company email daily
  • Driving various company vehicles
  • Look for opportunities to benefit the account and the product
  • Keep accurate inventory
  • Check cooler position, shelf position and identify new space opportunities
  • Communicate order for each account as early as possible each day
  • Responsible for Account Manager functions when account manager is on P.T.O.
  • Arrive at work on time
  • Have all selling tools available
  • Maintain and account for all assigned company equipment
  • Must follow all company policies and procedures, must comply with State beverage regulations and Great Bay’s safety program
  • Attend all the company required meetings
  • Keep Company provided vehicle clean
  • Must follow instruction
  • Must be adaptable to change; this includes, but not limited to: daily schedule or route, working hours, weekly schedule, etc.
