The Assistant Account Manager will be responsible for providing customer service to internal and external customers. This Assistant will support a team of Account Managers as well as answer customer inquiries, process service requests and coordinate renewal paperwork.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education and/or experience required
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients

Nice To Haves

  • General understanding of commercial property and casualty coverages and rating is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and review new and existing client applications
  • Prepare and submit customer requests (i.e. endorsements, certificates and loss runs)
  • Support the renewal process by gathering forms and obtain missing information
  • Assist customers with basic questions about their policies
  • Send coverage updates to customers and follow up to ensure forms are returned
  • Prepare and mail follow up letters to customers
