What impact you’ll make As a Asset Management Global Pre-Sales and Tendering Leader of the Asset Management Commercial Excellence function, you will drive profitable growth and bid competitiveness by leading the pre-sales engineering and tendering function across the full bid lifecycle, partnering with regional commercial teams and the Asset Management Product team to define winning strategies, ensure alignment, and deliver high-quality technical and commercial solutions in a global matrixed environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Extensive experience in tendering, commercial operations, pre-sales, or related functions, with a strong technical and commercial background in transmission, distribution, and power generation.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to support business needs
  • Professional proficiency in English

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical and commercial information, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and lead teams effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills, with proven experience in leading programs/projects, structuring work, and driving practical solutions and outcomes.
  • Additional language skills such as Spanish, French, Arabic, or others are considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Pre-Sales Engineering and Tendering/Costing team, ensuring high-quality, timely, and competitive technical and commercial support across the pre-ITO/bid phase.
  • Drive development of winning technical solutions through proposal configuration, performance assessments, costing, and aligned technical deliverables.
  • Partner with regional commercial teams to translate customer needs into optimized technical and commercial offerings and strong value propositions.
  • Collaborate with regional tendering teams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and best practice sharing across regions.
  • Work closely with the Asset Management Product team to align solutions with latest product capabilities and performance standards.
  • Provide technical bid leadership, including evaluation of scope, design, execution approach, cost structure, and performance parameters.
  • Ensure robust performance and economic analyses to support solution selection and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain accurate technical and costing documentation to support smooth handover to execution and downstream teams.
  • Build team capability and influence cross-functional stakeholders, promoting technical excellence, alignment, and continuous improvement.
