About The Position

The Insight Juvenile Crisis & Assessment Center, operated by Methodist Home for Children in partnership with the NC Department of Public Safety, is seeking a night shift Assessment Center Supervisor. This role involves supporting and guiding the youth care team, leading with purpose, and ensuring compassionate, structured care for youth ages 10–17.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old with a high school diploma
  • Previous experience supervising staff—especially in residential or juvenile services
  • A flexible spirit to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid NC driver’s license and successful screening/training completion

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support night-shift staff
  • Lead by example, ensuring compassionate, structured care for youth ages 10–17
  • Monitor safety, engage youth in assessment activities, and oversee the facility
