About The Position
Carolina Outreach is seeking a Housing Specialist to provide community-based in-home individual and family interventions to Mental Health and Substance Abuse clients receiving Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services. Carolina Outreach, an ncgCARE partner, is a leading provider of community-based behavioral health services in North Carolina. As part of the ncgCARE network, we are dedicated to improving lives by delivering evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. Our comprehensive range of services include school-based therapy, outpatient treatment, psychiatric evaluations, community support, and substance use services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services related field, required.
Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions, crisis interventions, behavioral interventions, psycho-educational activities, and other best practice therapies.
- Maintain oversight of services provided within and outside the agency.
- Work with clients, families, natural supports, and collateral agencies in reviewing, applying, and achieving goals outlined in the person-centered plan.
- Provide parent/guardian/natural support training to improve interaction with the client.
- Assist in all service delivery as formally planned with the clinical team.
