About The Position
The Assembler, working from a build schedule, fits and assembles metal fab, machined, roto molded, electrical, injection molded, and cast parts to build various floor cleaning equipment according to specifications, using a variety of hand & power tools.
Requirements
- The ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift and reach for 8+ hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience within Lean Manufacturing environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Short-cycle mechanical assembly
- Electro-mechanical assembly
- Performing all operations
- Properly documents daily production
- Responsible for the quality of workmanship, function and cosmetic appearance of the product, and tool upkeep.
- Assembler monitors inventory levels and advises supervisor of potential part shortages.
- Completing pre-assemblies of parts for transfer to full assembly.
- Responsible for visually inspecting items.
