About The Position

Duties include, but are not limited to: Office Administration Manage the Representative's calendar and schedule; Manage all incoming correspondence and communications in a timely manner (mail, email, calls, voicemail); Manage office interns, including recruiting, hiring, and training. Constituent Relations Provide exceptional constituent services (respond to constituent inquiries, assist constituents with state agencies, casework); Manage and maintain constituent database, office website, and all social media accounts; Conduct proactive constituent outreach, including in-district roundtables/event planning and outreach to advocacy groups; Prepare and send mass mailings, print and electronic newsletters, and other communications. Legislative Research Monitor, research, and analyze legislation and committee activity; Provide legislative recommendations to the Representative; Lead development of innovative legislation, including researching proposals and conducting stakeholder outreach.
