Assembly Coordinator/Scheduler
About The Position
If you love puzzles, moving parts, and being the person who secretly keeps the entire machine humming, this role is your sweet spot. As the Assembly Coordinator & Scheduler, you’ll be the maestro behind the scenes—synchronizing parts, people, and processes to keep centrifuge assembly running like clockwork. You’ll translate demand into schedules, schedules into actions, and actions into real-world progress. In a fast-paced, high-precision environment, you’re the heartbeat connecting engineering, QA, procurement, and assembly, making sure everything (and everyone) is in the right place at the right time.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.
Nice To Haves
- An Associate’s degreein manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- An active “Q” clearance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with engineering, QA, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly teams to plan the receipt, inspection, and build of centrifuge components.
- Maintain traceability documentation
- Create and distribute production schedules
- Analyze labor, equipment, and inventory capacity to develop realistic, optimized plans.
- Monitor part availability
- Resolve material shortages and scheduling conflicts
- Mitigate delays
- Keep assembly teams moving efficiently.
- Track KPIs
- Identify bottlenecks
- Recommend process improvements
- Perform walk-through inspections
- Support test plan and procedure development
- Ensure all work aligns with Centrus’ safety, quality, and compliance standards.
