Position Summary Be part of a team producing advanced defense products that protect our nation and allies worldwide. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with a variety of hand and power tools to assemble and sub-assemble critical components, learning the craft through on-the-job training that builds your expertise. HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required. Due to U.S. government contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or otherwise legally authorized to obtain the necessary government approvals. Skills and Qualifications: Ability to read and follow written instructions in English. Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish component colors and wiring (color vision required). Proficient in using hand tools and small parts assembly. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Strong work ethic and ability to meet production goals. Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions, with or without reasonable accommodation Work well with others in team setting Ability to cross train and rotate jobs often Physical Requirements: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Visual abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Work Environment: Work is performed in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. Frequent collaboration in a team-based setting. Occasional exposure (10%–33%) to noise, dust, chemicals, and machinery.
