About The Position

Assembler- 2nd Shift General Description: An Assembler welds or sets up for the assembly of parts. The assembler may also be required to repair defective parts. The assembler reports to the Assembly Supervisor.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to use measuring tools
• Ability to read and follow process sheet instructions
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing
• Ability to make repeated hand, arm and shoulder motions
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Support and follow the Company Safety Programs
• Support and follow Quality & Environmental Programs
• Use hand pumps to apply adhesives
• Reads and follows process sheets to ensure proper assembly of the part for production
• Use of resistance welding equipment (weld guns and pedestal welder)
• General inspection of parts to meet quality standards
• Place finished parts in racks & label to maintain accurate inventory
• Maintain clean work area free of debris and trip hazards
• Perform all other work as deemed necessary by supervision
