Assembler Assembles a variety of products or sub-assemblies of various sizes and weighted parts following standard procedures. Operates on Second Shift (1:30pm-12:00am) Essential Functions Comprehends work order by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists. Prepares for work by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Helps ensure parts and materials are available to others by only removing from inventory what is needed for the immediate task at hand. Replenishes stock when quantities appear to be low. Assembles a variety of products or sub-assemblies with the use of standard procedures. May perform electrical, mechanical connections/assembly. Regularly utilizes hand tools and/or power tools, depending on task. Work may require filing, grinding and/or adjusting parts as needed. Refers to drawings, diagrams, or blueprints as guides for performing assembly tasks. Follows all instructions and requirements, ensuring quality standards are met. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component and ensuring accuracy in work. Performs Quality Control Inspections to ensure quality requirements are met. Resolve assembly and production issues. Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed on equipment and tools. Report errors in product line, drawings and assemblies. Complete preventive maintenance as well as TPM Audits. Keeps accurate production and quality records, and documents work procedures. Ensures work practices are compliant with all OSHA and ISO standards. Ensures proper utilization of required PPE and task-specific tools and equipment to ensure the highest level of safety for self and others. Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work environment. Follows all company and job-specific safety rules and regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned.
