About The Position

Assembly Operator I position is responsible for the assembly of all cabinet components and putting it together with a staple gun to build a cabinet. This position will report directly to the Supervisor for the departments listed above.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and in a teamwork environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.

Responsibilities

• assembling of cabinets, utilizing equipment such as glue gun, nail gun and clamp machines.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Responsible for removing components from conveyor to assembly table/area to install the components together to build a cabinet.
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Help production workers by supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Will perform other job-related duties as assigned.
