About The Position

Alternate Heating Systems is a family-owned, American manufacturer of high-quality wood, coal, and waste oil heating equipment, proudly built in Pennsylvania since 1998. Every product we ship is assembled right here in our shop using components we manufacture in-house. As a Boiler & Stove Assembler, you won’t just be putting parts together—you’ll be part of the process that turns raw steel into a finished heating system. From sheet metal to a working boiler, your hands will directly shape a product that heats homes and businesses across the country.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Mechanically inclined (you don’t need to know everything—we’ll teach you)
• Able to lift 40+ lbs regularly
• Reliable and shows up ready to work
• Works well with a team
• Able to read basic instructions and measurements
• Willing to learn and improve

Responsibilities

• Assemble boilers and stoves according to production standards
• Install insulation, wire panels, and assemble components
• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment daily
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment (training provided if needed)
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy
• Prepare finished units for shipment
• Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized
• Work with the team to improve efficiency and product quality
