The Assembler builds mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components that support industrial burner and combustion equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions and drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality products in a safe manufacturing environment. The role has a floating character, meaning that an Assembler can be deployed throughout the facility and cover a variety of assembly functions, based on business need, completed training, and acquired skill. The Assembler works collaboratively with Production, Engineering, and Quality to meet daily output and quality expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand basic drawings, diagrams, and written work instructions.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and basic measuring devices; ability to follow torque and assembly specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions including standing/walking for most of the shift and using hands/fingers for tool and assembly work (with or without reasonable accommodation).
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment (mechanical and/or electrical).
  • Familiarity with 5S, standard work, or continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components using work instructions, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices to complete assembly tasks safely and accurately.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality and safety requirements; identify and report nonconforming parts or issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S and standard work expectations.
  • Support basic troubleshooting, rework, and corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and escalate issues that may impact safety, quality, or delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within the production area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs.
