About The Position
Seeking an Assembler to drill, deburr, and assemble sheet metal components. This role involves installing hardware such as ground studs, nutplates, and bonding materials, as well as performing repair and rework as needed to meet quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred (pre-employment assessment required if not)
- Prior assembly experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools and hand tools
Responsibilities
- Assemble and repair sheet metal components per process specifications and blueprints
- Drill, rivet, countersink, trim, grind, and buff parts to meet required specifications
- Pull parts, report shortages, and properly clean and load components
- Work with various gauges of aluminum and sheet metal materials
- Identify and report defective materials, tools, or equipment
- Complete rework as required and maintain quality and safety standards
