Requirements

  • Knowledge of safe and effective use of power tools and hand tools, including screw guns and related assembly equipment.
  • Skill in accurately reading and interpreting measurements using tape measures and other basic measuring instruments.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new assembly processes, tools, and techniques as required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
  • Ability to perform tasks in various work areas and adapt to changing priorities within the manufacturing environment.
  • Skill in maintaining strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in assembly work.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Combining experience in manufacturing, warehouse, and assembly practices of 6 months or more with education is desirable.
  • Previous experience with manufacturing, warehouse, and assembly is desired.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various stages of the assembly process to build high-quality products according to specifications and production schedules.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to assemble components and subassemblies.
  • Conduct visual and functional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards before moving to the next production phase.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to promote a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
  • Assist with material handling tasks, including receiving, moving, and staging parts and finished goods as needed.
  • Participate in regular physical inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and resolve issues that impact workflow.
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, and standing for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues promptly and support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.
