Requirements

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Valid Class A or B CDL (depending on vehicle type)
• Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Experience hauling construction materials or equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with load securement, tie-down procedures, and safe operating practices
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and assist with loading/unloading when required
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist with infrared patching of asphalt surfaces, repairing cracks, potholes, and damaged areas.
• Operate infrared patching equipment to heat and restore asphalt to its original condition.
• Prepare asphalt surfaces for repair by cleaning and prepping the area.
• Apply proper infrared patching techniques to ensure lasting, high-quality repairs.
• Ensure the repair area is properly compacted and leveled after patching.
• Maintain and care for infrared patching equipment, ensuring it’s in good working condition.
• Work with the team to complete projects on time, following safety protocols and quality standards.
• Communicate with Foreman and supervisors regarding job progress and site conditions.
• Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Operate heavy equipment including roller and infrared equipment
