About The Position

The CDL Asphalt Crew Member position performs a variety of routine and complex transportation and physical labor tasks. This position will spend approximately 20% driving and 80% assisting other crewmen by operating a variety of hand/power tools and heavy machinery to clean and prepare sites, apply pavement preservation products, and setup/remove cones and carpet. Requirements

Must be hard-working, dependable, and able to meet the physical demands.

Nice To Haves

Preferably has three months or more of related work experience.
Preferably has a valid CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement.

Responsibilities

Loads/unloads trucks, and hauls materials to the job site.
Performs strenuous manual labor in preparing surfaces for pavement repair and maintenance.
Conducts pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Works with team members to apply pavement preservation products such as seal coat and HA5 high-density mineral bond.
Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
Complies with all safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
Performs other functions as assigned.
