About The Position
As an Asphalt & Concrete Finisher, you will be a key member of a traveling construction crew responsible for executing asphalt, slurry coat, stripping, and concrete projects on job sites across multiple regions. You will contribute to high-quality projects involving roadwork, paving, ADA compliance, and finishing tasks for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure applications. Execute asphalt, slurry coat, stripping, and concrete projects on diverse terrains and climates Collaborate with crew members to achieve high-quality standards and project timelines Perform roadwork, paving, ADA compliance, and finishing tasks for various applications Operate and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles to ensure efficient project execution Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment Contribute to a safe working environment, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations Travel extensively to job sites in Northern California, Southern California, the Southwest US, and Pacific Northwest US
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in asphalt and concrete finishing, or equivalent experience
- Must have compliant government issued identification for domestic air travel and/or to access certain federal facilities, valid driver's license required, with flexibility to work on weekends and/or overtime
- Ability to travel extensively (nearly all work will occur on the road), ability to work in diverse climates and terrains, with adaptability to changing project requirements
- Strong knowledge of asphalt and concrete finishing techniques, materials, and equipment
- Experience with roadwork, paving, ADA compliance, and finishing tasks for various applications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
