About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, career and mission-oriented ASOTC Instructor to join our team in Fort Bragg, NC. Join a high-performing team dedicated to shaping the next generation of elite operators. As an ASOTC Instructor, you will directly influence USSOCOM’s mission success by delivering sophisticated instruction on SOF specific programs, ensuring our forces are prepared for the most complex global environments. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Training Certification: Must be a graduate of the Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course (ASOTC) AND either the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC), SEAL Qualification Course, or MARSOC Raider Training Course.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of dedicated Special Operations experience.
  • Instructional Knowledge: Proven skill in the TRADOC-approved Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
  • Regulatory Expertise: Deep familiarity with USSOCOM training policies, programs, and current course doctrine.
  • Physical Readiness: Must maintain a high degree of physical fitness, capable of moving 6 miles through various rough terrain in extreme heat or cold.
  • Communication: Must possess excellent verbal communication skills to effectively instruct and evaluate trainees on complex subject matter.
  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance prior to starting; current Secret level clearance with TS eligibility is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive Tenure: Ten (10) or more years of Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience.
  • Advanced Leadership: Prior experience leading and supervising large-scale field training exercises.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Recent experience with the most current regulations governing ASOTC and USSOCOM policies.

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and author comprehensive doctrine to support evolving Special Forces missions and instructional requirements.
  • Deliver expert-level instruction to trainees, evaluating and counseling them on the subtle, difficult concepts of the subject matter.
  • Prepare and execute complex field training exercises (FTX) across urban and rural CONUS environments, ensuring rigorous oversight and supervision.
  • Coordinate and brief high-level military and civilian officials on program status, training outcomes, and mission readiness.
  • Safeguard and account for all government property and highly classified documents, ensuring zero loss or compromise of mission-sensitive materials.
  • Operate in demanding conditions, maintaining performance during non-standard hours and in extreme environmental climates.
  • Execute TDY travel in strict alignment with the established Course Schedule and Structure to support mission-critical training objectives across various locations.
