The Registered Nurse position is part of the Emergency Department and is a contingent position working approximately 12 hours per two-week pay period. This position works varied hours and may require weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed. This RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department while also supporting other departments as needed. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Ohio RN license required
ACLS, NRP, TNCC, and PALS certifications required
Ability to recognize and interpret electrocardiographic information
Knowledge and experience managing ventilator patients
Skilled in setting up and assisting with invasive procedures
Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and professionalism
Strong communication skills, independent thinking, and commitment to patient-centered care
Focused on customer service, teamwork, and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of hospital critical care or Emergency Department experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and assist other departments as assigned
Assess patient needs, plan and coordinate care, and evaluate outcomes efficiently and safely
Facilitate collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Adhere to all nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements
Promote patient advocacy, safety, and improved health outcomes
Support teamwork with physicians and other personnel to maintain high-quality care
