About The Position

Serve as a key front office team member in a fast-paced medical environment. Act as the first point of contact for patients, delivering a professional and welcoming experience. Support daily clinic operations through scheduling, communication, and administrative coordination. Assist with insurance processing, billing support, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Familiarity with insurance verification, billing, or medical administrative processes
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist others as needed

Nice To Haves

  • healthcare or medical office experience preferred
  • Experience with collections or patient accounts is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow efficiently
  • Conduct patient check-in/check-out while ensuring accuracy of information
  • Proactively follow up on recalls, missed appointments, and scheduling needs
  • Maintain precise electronic medical records and facilitate communication between departments
  • Verify insurance coverage and ensure all patient demographic information is current
  • Collect co-pays and balances while supporting billing and claims processes
  • Address patient questions regarding insurance and billing with clarity and professionalism
  • Uphold HIPAA standards and ensure confidentiality of patient information
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth clinic operations and meet performance standards
