About The Position

Serve as a key front office team member in a fast-paced medical environment. Act as the first point of contact for patients, delivering a professional and welcoming experience. Support daily clinic operations through scheduling, communication, and administrative coordination. Assist with insurance processing, billing support, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Requirements

  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA REQUIRED
  • FAMILIARITY WITH INSURANCE VERIFICATION, BILLING, OR MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSES
  • STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL AND MULTITASKING ABILITIES IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
  • PROFICIENCY WITH COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS
  • ABILITY TO MANAGE TIME EFFECTIVELY AND MEET DEADLINES
  • TEAM-ORIENTED MINDSET WITH A WILLINGNESS TO ASSIST OTHERS AS NEEDED

Responsibilities

  • MANAGE INCOMING CALLS, SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS, AND COORDINATE PATIENT FLOW EFFICIENTLY
  • CONDUCT PATIENT CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT WHILE ENSURING ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
  • PROACTIVELY FOLLOW UP ON RECALLS, MISSED APPOINTMENTS, AND SCHEDULING NEEDS
  • MAINTAIN PRECISE ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS AND FACILITATE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS
  • VERIFY INSURANCE COVERAGE AND ENSURE ALL PATIENT DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION IS CURRENT
  • COLLECT CO-PAYS AND BALANCES WHILE SUPPORTING BILLING AND CLAIMS PROCESSES
  • ADDRESS PATIENT QUESTIONS REGARDING INSURANCE AND BILLING WITH CLARITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
  • UPHOLD HIPAA STANDARDS AND ENSURE CONFIDENTIALITY OF PATIENT INFORMATION
  • COLLABORATE WITH TEAM MEMBERS TO MAINTAIN SMOOTH CLINIC OPERATIONS AND MEET PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
