The Department of Art invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, specializing in Sculpture. We seek a dynamic and innovative artist-educator with expertise in a broad range of sculptural techniques and materials. Areas of departmental interest include, but are not limited to, wood and stone carving, steel fabrication, welding, 3D/4D printing, casting and mold-making methods, for bronze and other materials and site-specific installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students while maintaining an active professional studio practice. Faculty members are expected to contribute to department, college, and university service, including participation in faculty meetings, committee work, and student recruitment and retention. The position also requires maintaining student and department records in accordance with university policies and fostering a collaborative academic environment.
