About The Position

Dolls Kill is a global fashion brand that empowers everyone to celebrate their individuality, boasting over 10 million social media followers and backed by strong consumer-focused investors. The company is rapidly expanding and seeks passionate team members. This Art Director role is for a highly conceptual, design-forward individual with a strong background in graphic design and digital storytelling. The position requires both visionary leadership and hands-on execution, involving setting creative direction and bringing it to life across key digital channels. The Art Director will be responsible for the visual identity across the entire digital ecosystem, including homepage takeovers and high-performing email campaigns, ensuring a fresh, cohesive, and distinctly Dolls Kill aesthetic.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2–3 years in an Art Director or senior-level role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital-first design (ecommerce, homepage, email, campaigns)
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
  • Deep understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling
  • Experience designing for e-commerce and performance marketing environments
  • Ability to conceptualize at a high level and execute with attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a collaborative environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for fashion

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the visual direction of Dolls Kill across all digital touchpoints
  • Concept, design, and execute homepage experiences, landing pages, and site refreshes that drive engagement and conversion
  • Lead the design and development of email campaigns - from template systems to one-off launches and promos
  • Partner closely with marketing, merchandising, and social teams to bring campaigns to life
  • Develop and maintain design systems and templates for scalability across channels
  • Mentor and provide feedback to designers, fostering a high-performing creative team
  • Stay ahead of trends in fashion, design, and digital experiences - bringing new ideas and innovation to the brand
  • Balance speed and quality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ensure brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries
