As we continue to grow, we are building the Pacific Northwest’s most comprehensive and high-value oncology network—projected to double in volume over FTE: 1.0, Shift: day, Schedule: day Position Summary MultiCare Health System is seeking a Medical Oncology Physician Assistant to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. Practicing within a Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited comprehensive cancer program, you’ll play a vital role in delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team.Requirements Provides specialized care for patients undergoing cancer treatment, including administering systemic therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted agents. Assess and manage treatment-related symptoms. Coordinate care across disciplines, and support patients through education, counseling, and survivorship planning. Work alongside oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other specialists to coordinate holistic patient care. Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging. Offer clear guidance on follow up care, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications to support informed decision-making. Participate in tumor boards, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives. Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record (EMR). Stay current with oncology best practices, emerging therapies, and clinical guidelines through continuing education and training.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • Washington State Physician Assistant license by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
