About The Position
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) – Mobile Medical Clinic Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to support our Mobile Medical Clinic Program. This unique role combines direct patient care with program coordination, delivering essential healthcare services to underserved individuals and families throughout the community. The ARNP will serve as both the primary clinician and on-site program coordinator, ensuring efficient daily operations while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Active Florida licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience; primary care, community health, or mobile healthcare experience preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to drive and operate a mobile medical clinic (valid Florida driver's license required)
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule, with hours varying based on clinic locations and community needs, including evenings, nights, and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Experience in patient education, chronic disease management, and community outreach preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive healthcare services, including chronic disease management, acute care, memory screenings, and health risk assessments
- Conduct back-to-school and sports physicals for pediatric patients
- Provide first aid support at community events
- Deliver health education, preventive care, and patient-centered wellness services
- Refer patients to appropriate specialty care and community resources
- Oversee daily mobile clinic operations, ensuring timely arrival, efficient patient flow, and a positive patient experience
- Drive the mobile medical clinic to scheduled community locations
- Assist with scheduling clinic visits, outreach events, and patient appointments
- Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and VNA leadership to expand access and impact
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies
