We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital and provide inpatient psychiatric care for adults with co-occurring medical and mental health needs. Requirements
- BC at the time of employment
- Licensed in the state of Washington by employment
- DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1-3 years clinical experience with direct patient care with adolescents
- Psychiatry ARNP with child & adolescent experience
- Board certification in area of licensure
- 1-3 years of experience working with the adolescent population
- Well versed in EPIC EMR
- Inpatient psychiatric prescribing experience
Responsibilities
- 100% inpatient psychiatric care
- Average 9 patients per day
- Collaborate closely with supervising psychiatrist and multidisciplinary team
- Support individuals with significant psychiatric conditions and extended length of stay
- Opportunity to deliver integrated psychiatric care within a medical hospital environment
