As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a major financial institution, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Requirements

Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and executing emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution's buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches.
Complete reports and documentation related to daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when appropriate during critical situations.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.
