You will help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Must possess an armed guard card or license.
Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying identification, and following protocols for admittance.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local law enforcement as required for incident response.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or alarms according to established protocols for financial institution environments.
